Further, MECA specializes in materials handling processing, process design, mechanism design, EOT Crane retrofits, EOT Crane re-rates, equipment design, commercial, and industrial building design, utilizing the latest mechanical modeling and engineering strategies.

Our team has provided extensive process piping design, product flow analysis, PFDs, P&IDs and overall facility design for companies such as BP Refinery (Whiting, IN)), Praxair (Portage, IN), Steel Technologies (Louisville, KY), Cleveland Cliffs (East Chicago), Cleveland Cliffs (Burns Harbor, IN), Steel Dynamics (Columbia City, IN), U.S. Steel, Gelita USA (Calumet, IL), AM Stabilizers Corporation (Valparaiso, IN), Dover Chemical Corporation (Hammond, IN), and Formosa Plastics (Point Comfort, TX).

Notable projects range from modest projects to complex plant designs and include specialized services per Client needs. For instance, MECA provided the engineering and safe handling, transport (goldhofer) and storage of liquid nitrogen tanks from Louisiana to Praxair.
