The Challenge:

​MECA Engineering was contracted to perform inspection and design for repairs of the dock wall along the west side of the Indiana Harbor Canal. Utilizing ground penetrating radar, underwater observation equipment, and additional inspection methods, damage was documented, a repair plan created, and design drawings were provided including bollards, expansion joints, bumpers/fenders, and appurtenances.
